Bladnoch Vinaya is a Lowland single malt whose name, taken from Sanskrit, means “respect and gratitude”, paying homage to the distillery’s founders. Matured in a mix of first‑fill bourbon and sherry casks, it delivers a bright yet nuanced flavour profile. The nose shows floral notes, freshly cut grass and citrus alongside green apples, honey and a hint of chocolate. On the palate the whisky is light on its feet, with juicy fruit, gentle sweetness, a touch of nuttiness and discreet spice. The texture is clean and refreshing but retains good depth. The finish is medium in length, elegant, and brings together apple, herbs and delicate cocoa tones. A modern, approachable single malt with excellent drinkability.
