Château Fieuzal Pessac-Léognan rouge gcc. 2015 0,75l

Château de Fieuzal is a Graves Classified Growth in the southern part of Pessac-Léognan. The red Grand Vin comes from gravel, sand and clay soils strewn with small white stones and cooled by the nearby Eau Blanche stream. The vineyard is planted mainly with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, completed by Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Hand-picking, plot-by-plot vinification and ageing in French oak highlight both purity of fruit and smoky complexity. The bouquet reveals cassis, blackberry and plum with notes of tobacco, cedar and graphite. On the palate Fieuzal Rouge is juicy and silky yet firmly built, with ripe tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, spicy, mineral finish.

Twelve months in barrique add extra structure and a subtle, well-integrated oak frame to this powerful red wine.
