Cachat Ocquidant Pernand Vergelesses Blanc 2023, 0,75l

BrandCachat Ocquidant
RegionEurope - France - Burgundy
CategoryWines - White wine

Pernand‑Vergelesses Les Belles Filles from Cachat-Ocquidant comes from a cool side valley of the Corton hill and combines freshness with real depth. Chardonnay vines grow on classic clay‑limestone soils with a relatively cool exposure, giving the wine tension, minerality and firm acidity. The nose offers white flowers, citrus, green apple and pear, with subtle herbal notes and a touch of honey and spice. On the palate it is straight, lively and very precise, balancing juicy fruit with chalky minerality and a gentle creamy texture. With some bottle age, nutty and slightly buttery nuances appear, without compromising the wine’s inherent freshness. The finish is long, clean and elegant, marked by citrus and a salty mineral edge. A characterful Pernand‑Vergelesses Blanc that pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled fish, white meats in cream sauces or aged hard cheeses.
