Careful canopy work, strict selection and ageing in French oak help to shape the wine’s character. The bouquet offers black cherry, blackberry and cassis with notes of cedar, tobacco, smoke and a hint of liquorice. On the palate Château Clément-Pichon is medium- to full-bodied, fresh and approachable, with juicy fruit, polished tannins and a gently spicy, mineral finish. | |
