Discover the character of Ch.Cissac Haut Médoc
Château Cissac is a long-standing family estate in the heart of the Haut-Médoc, lying between Saint-Estèphe and Pauillac. Its 50 to 60 hectares of vineyards are planted mainly with Cabernet Sauvignon alongside Merlot, Petit Verdot and some Cabernet Franc on sandy gravel over clay-limestone. The estate follows sustainable practices and aims to balance traditional Médoc winemaking with thoughtful modern techniques. The bouquet offers cassis, blackberry and plum with cedar, tobacco and spice. On the palate Château Cissac is firmly structured yet charming, with ripe, grippy tannins, bright acidity and a classic, slightly savoury finish – a very typical Left Bank Haut-Médoc.
