| Ch. Cambon la Pelouse Haut Médoc: The Essence of True Craftsmanship | |
| Château Cambon la Pelouse is a Cru Bourgeois estate in the southern Haut-Médoc, ideally positioned between Margaux and Pauillac on deep gravel soils close to the Gironde. The vineyard is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a small share of Petit Verdot, and benefits from a mild microclimate that favours even ripening. According to producer notes the wine offers aromas of blackcurrant, dark berries and plum with floral tones, pepper and a touch of vanilla from barrel ageing. On the palate it is juicy and medium- to full-bodied, with fine tannins, fresh acidity and a long, fruity, gently spicy finish – a classic, approachable Haut-Médoc from the Left Bank. | |
