Domaine de Chevalier Pessac-Léognan blanc – An Experience for True Connoisseurs
Domaine de Chevalier Blanc ranks among the great dry whites of Pessac-Léognan and is based on sauvignon blanc with a significant share of sémillon. Vines are planted in a wooded cru on deep gravel and sand, which contribute finesse, tension and ageing potential. The bouquet is complex, revealing citrus oils, white flowers, stone fruit and ripe pear together with hints of white pepper, herbs and wet stones. On the palate the wine is dense, silky and layered, combining generous fruit with saline minerality and vibrant, precise acidity. Subtle oak brings structure, spice and nutty depth while preserving the wine’s cool elegance. It is a great cellaring white Bordeaux that pairs beautifully with fine fish, shellfish, poultry and refined gastronomy.
