The bouquet combines dark cherries, small red berries and cassis with floral nuances, gentle spice and hints of toasted oak. On the palate this Pinot Noir is full-bodied, deep and multi-layered, with silky, ripe tannins and lively but beautifully balanced acidity. The structure is powerful without heaviness and carries the intense fruit far into the finish. A great Grand Cru for special occasions, ideal with braised beef, game or mature cheeses. Given time in bottle, it gains further complexity and an even more velvety, seamless texture. | |
