Discover the Character of Faiveley Aloxe Corton 1er Cru Les Valozières
Aloxe-Corton Premier Cru Les Valozières from Domaine Faiveley is sourced from parcels at the foot of the Corton hill and captures Pinot Noir in a classic Burgundian style. The nose opens with black cherry, blackberry and plum, framed by violet, liquorice and subtle earthy tones. On the palate the wine is succulent, dense and firmly structured, with ripe, tightly woven tannins and lively but well-integrated acidity. The site lends depth and a cool, mineral edge that keeps the dark fruit precise and refined. With air, spice notes and a gentle touch of oak emerge, adding further complexity. The long finish is carried by fruit, spice and a faintly salty impression. A characterful partner for braised beef, lamb, game birds or mature hard cheeses.
