The bouquet offers dark cherry, blackberry and black currant alongside notes of sloe, sea buckthorn, orange zest and dried herbs. On the palate the wine is dense yet taut, with cool, spicy minerality, ripe berry fruit and firm but fine grained tannins. Lively acidity adds tension and keeps the wine focused.
