La Commaraine Pommard 1c.Chanlins Bas rouge 2023, 0,75l 6er HK

BrandDomaine de la Commaraine
RegionEurope - France - Burgundy
CategoryWines - Red wine

Pommard 1er Cru Les Chanlins Bas from La Commaraine comes from steep limestone slopes on the border with Volnay. Deep‑rooted Pinot Noir vines produce a wine of dark, concentrated fruit and clear structure. The bouquet reveals cassis, blackberry and a touch of mint, wrapped in subtle spice and polished oak. On the palate it is firm yet silky, with ripe, fine‑grained tannins and vibrant acidity. A cool mineral streak lends precision and length. The lingering finish with dark berries and savoury herbs makes this a characterful partner for game, lamb or aged hard cheese. It benefits from a short decant and generous Burgundy stems.
