| Grand Marrenon is a carefully selected blend of Syrah and Grenache sourced from old vine parcels on the limestone slopes of the Luberon. The stony, well-drained soils favour low yields and concentrated fruit. After fermentation a portion of the wine matures in French oak barrels, adding structure and subtle spice. The bouquet is expressive, with ripe red and dark berries, hints of jam, blond tobacco and gentle woody notes. On the palate the wine is full, silky and complex, supported by well-integrated tannins and persistent fruit. It is a characterful Rhône red that pairs beautifully with lamb, slow-cooked beef or richly seasoned Mediterranean dishes. | |
