| Excellia Tequila Reposado builds on the character of the blanco and spends around nine months maturing in grand cru Sauternes and Cognac barrels. This extended ageing brings a deep straw-gold colour and a highly complex nose of honey, toasted wood, dried lavender, jasmine and violet. On the palate the reposado is dry, rounded and layered, showing flavours of caramelised agave, pumpkin, brown sugar and subtle cigar-box notes. The mouthfeel is silky and full, yet the vibrant core of agave remains clearly visible. A long finish with spicy, earthy tones and a gentle floral lift invites another sip. Perfect served neat in a nosing glass or as a sophisticated base for Tequila twists on classic cocktails. | |
