Faiveley Puligny Montrachet 1c.Champ Gain: The essence of true craftsmanship
Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Champ Gain from Domaine Faiveley comes from high, limestone-rich parcels on the upper slopes and expresses Chardonnay in a particularly precise, refined style. The bouquet combines citrus and exotic fruit with white flowers, roasted hazelnuts and a touch of vanilla. On the palate the wine is rich and creamy yet beautifully tense, driven by lively, saline minerality. Subtle oak is perfectly integrated and frames the dense, clearly defined fruit. Aromatic persistence is impressive, leading into a long, fresh, gently spicy finish. An outstanding premier cru to serve with fine fish, lobster, scallops or delicate poultry and vegetable dishes in creamy sauces.
