As of August 2025
The protection of your personal data is particularly important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in the context of our website.
You can visit our website without providing personal data. If you wish to make a purchase (see point 2), or subscribe to our newsletter (see point 4), necessary personal data will be collected.
1) Contact with us
If you contact us via the form on the website or by email, your provided data will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow‑up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
Data when shopping in the shop
For the purpose of contract processing for purchases in the shop, the following data will be stored with us:
- Name
- Address
- Telephone number and email address (for contact in case of questions and information related to the order)
- If applicable, VAT number and company name
The data you provide is required for performance of the contract or for pre‑contractual measures. Without this data we cannot conclude the contract with you. Data will not be transmitted to third parties, with the exception of transmitting payment data to the processing banks/payment service providers (see point 5 Third‑party providers) for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the shipping company commissioned by us for delivery of the goods, and to our tax advisor in order to fulfill our tax law obligations.
2.1) Storage period
If the purchase process is aborted, the data stored with us is deleted. In the case of a contract conclusion, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the tax retention period (7 years).
Furthermore, the data name, address, purchased goods and purchase date will be stored until the expiry of product liability (10 years). The data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG and/or Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for performance of a contract) of the GDPR.
2.2) User Accounts
As a customer, you have the option to set up a password‑protected customer account. This includes an overview of past orders and active order processes. Here you can also change your personal data at any time. The password is stored in encrypted form and is not visible to us. The operator assumes no liability for password misuse, unless it was caused by the operator themselves.
2.3) Use of Cookies
When using user accounts, the website uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device via the browser. They do no harm.
We use cookies to make our offering user‑friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
If you do not wish this, you can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and allow them only on a case‑by‑case basis. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.
2.4) Data security and encryption
To securely transmit all contractual data, it is encrypted using SSL (128 bit) and thus ensures the protection of confidential data. We secure our website and other systems through technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, alteration or dissemination of your data by unauthorized persons. You can recognize the use of this data transfer protection by the small padlock icon at the top left of your browser and the use of the https (instead of http) scheme as part of our internet address.
Web Analysis
Currently, no third‑party tools are used for web analysis.
3.1) Device Data
In order to make your visit as user‑friendly as possible and offer all available functions, we collect a number of data and information about the device you used to access our website. These are:
Operating system
Browser type and version
Date and time of access
These are solely pieces of information that do not allow conclusions to be drawn about your person. Anonymous information of this kind is evaluated by us statistically to optimize our online presence and the technology behind it. These data are not evaluated for marketing purposes in this context.
4) Newsletter
The following information explains the procedures for subscription, delivery and statistical evaluation, as well as the content of our newsletter and the rights to object. By subscribing (with confirmation of your registration), you consent to receive our newsletter and the respective procedures.
4.1) Newsletter Content
Your provided data are used to stay in contact with you and deliver updates and marketing information to your specified email address. This includes information about new products, reviews of our products, promotions, and invitations to themed events.
4.2) Subscription Confirmation and Documentation (Double‑Opt‑In)
To ensure no unauthorized person can subscribe using your email address, you receive an automatically generated email after subscribing in which you can confirm your registration. To legally document your registration, your IP address, as well as the date and time of registration are stored (details under “Tracking and evaluation”).
4.3) Data / Optional Information at Registration
To subscribe to the newsletter, providing your email address is sufficient. Additional data are optional and serve to tailor the sent content, e.g., based on stated interests, and possibly personalize the newsletter.
All data collected in the course of registration, sending, and receipt are stored on Brevo servers in the EU. Stored are the IP address (for documentation of confirmation, see “Tracking and evaluation”), times of use, location (to determine language and time zone), and device information (desktop or mobile) as well as reading and usage behavior (details under “Tracking and evaluation”). This data is used by both Brevo and LARIMIS FlexCo to improve services and optimize content (e.g., personalization by adjusting newsletter topics for different recipient groups, but also technical optimization such as optimization for mobile users). However, Brevo does not directly send information to stored email addresses and does not pass collected data on to third parties.
4.4) Tracking and Evaluation
Upon receipt of a newsletter, user information is determined and stored through tracking technologies. This includes information on whether a newsletter is opened, what device type and browser were used, at what location and at what time the newsletter was opened (determined via IP address), and which links were clicked. This information is used to adapt content based on reading behavior and improve services (e.g., optimized view for mobile devices). If data are used for evaluations, it is done in aggregated form (e.g., how many users on a distribution list opened a newsletter) and not for individual users (which person opened the newsletter), as the purpose is not to determine or evaluate the behavior of individual users.
To document your registration, the IP address under which the entry took place is stored. Furthermore, the IP address is not used for any other purposes.
4.5) Updating Data and Storage Duration
You can update your data at any time (a link for updating your data is provided at the end of each newsletter). The data are stored as long as the newsletter subscription is active.
4.6) Unsubscription
You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing LARIMIS FlexCo or by using the unsubscribe link (at the end of each newsletter).
5.) Disclosure to Third Parties
Data collected for the purchase are not disclosed to third parties under any circumstances. An exception is service partners such as shipping companies, our contractually affiliated partners for financial services or insurance. Any disclosure is made in accordance with applicable data protection law and is limited to the necessary minimum.
5.1) Shipping Service Providers:
Österreichische Post AG, 1030 Vienna, Rochusplatz 1
DPD Direct Parcel Distribution Austria GmbH, 2333 Leopoldsdorf, Arbeitergasse 46
5.2) PayPal as a payment method
The data controller has integrated components from PayPal on this website. PayPal is an online payment service provider. Payments are processed via so‑called PayPal accounts, which represent virtual private or business accounts. Additionally, PayPal allows virtual payments via credit cards if a user does not have a PayPal account. A PayPal account is managed via an email address, so there is no traditional account number. PayPal enables online payments to third parties or also to receive payments. PayPal also provides escrow functions and buyer protection services.
The European operating company of PayPal is PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. & Cie. S.C.A., 22–24 Boulevard Royal, 2449 Luxembourg, Luxembourg.
If the data subject selects “PayPal” as the payment option during the ordering process in our online shop, data of the data subject are automatically transmitted to PayPal. By choosing this payment option, the data subject consents to the transfer of personal data required for payment processing.
The personal data transmitted to PayPal usually include first name, last name, address, email address, IP address, telephone number, mobile phone number or other data necessary for payment processing. Data related to the respective order which are necessary for contract processing are also included.
The transmission of data serves the purpose of payment processing and fraud prevention. The data controller will transmit personal data to PayPal in particular when there is a legitimate interest for the transmission. The personal data exchanged between PayPal and the data controller may be forwarded by PayPal to credit agencies. This transmission aims to verify identity and creditworthiness.
PayPal may forward personal data to affiliated companies and service providers or subcontractors, insofar as this is necessary to fulfill contractual obligations or processes data on behalf of the company.
The data subject may revoke the consent to the processing of personal data at any time vis‑à‑vis PayPal. A revocation does not affect personal data that must be processed, used, or transmitted for (contractually required) payment processing.
The applicable privacy policy of PayPal can be accessed via their website.
6.) Changes to the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to adapt or extend the privacy policy without prior notice in case of security‑related developments or procedural changes (as long as the use of data does not change). You can view the current version at any time by revisiting this page.
7.) Your Rights
You are generally entitled to rights regarding the data we store about you, including the rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, withdrawal, and objection. If you believe the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you may complain to us or to the Data Protection Authority.
