Château Cap de Faugères

At Château Cap de Faugères in Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux, east of Saint-Émilion, the Right Bank reveals its rising energy. The estate belongs to Vignobles Silvio Denz and is linked to the Faugères properties, whose modern chapter was reshaped after the 2005 acquisition.

The vines grow around Sainte-Colombe on clay and limestone soils, geologically close to the continuation of Saint-Émilion. Merlot defines the blend, with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon adding line; vine density, cold soak, stainless-steel vats and measured élevage bring precision to Castillon fruit.

Cap de Faugères is not a small shadow of a famous neighbour, but a promise of its own: Bordeaux craft, limestone tension and modern cellar discipline. Here Castillon is not treated as a margin, but as a terroir with a clear voice and growing confidence.
