Château Marsac Séguineau

Close to the Gironde estuary, in the northern part of the Margaux appellation, Château Marsac Séguineau is a Cru Bourgeois shaped by river light and the cooling breezes of the Garonne. In 2001 it was acquired as a neighbouring estate to Château La Tour de Mons and folded into a larger, contiguous vineyard framework—useful for precise parcel management and a consistent quality mindset.

Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot lead on gravel‑sand soils with clay streaks, with Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot joining the blend when the vintage calls for it. Grapes are harvested carefully, sorted, and vinified in small lots to keep extraction measured and tannins fine‑grained. French oak élevage is employed to refine structure rather than add sweetness. The result is Margaux with an understated signature: dependable craftsmanship, balance and terroir clarity over spectacle.
