Ch.Pavie Saint Emilion – A true delight from St.Emilion
Château Pavie is one of the most prominent estates in Saint-Émilion and, as a Premier Grand Cru Classé, is renowned for its powerful yet finely chiselled style. The vineyards lie on a limestone plateau with clay topsoils and are planted mainly with merlot, supported by cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon. The wine shows aromas of ripe black cherry, plum and blackberry with notes of licorice, violet, spice and a hint of graphite. On the palate it is dense, silky and very long, with firm, ripe tannins and vibrant acidity. Marked minerality lends finesse and tension to the finish, making it an outstanding partner for fine meat dishes, game and truffle cuisine.
