Citadelle Gin Jardin d’Été is distilled from French wheat at Château de Bonbonnet in the Cognac region and infused with twenty-two botanicals. Juniper is joined by bright citrus peels of lemon, yuzu and orange, Charentais melon, almonds, violet, iris root, star anise, Sichuan pepper and more. The nose recalls a summer garden, with fresh herbs, flowers and zesty citrus notes. On the palate Jardin d’Été is elegant, delicate and wonderfully refreshing, combining juicy melon, orange and tangerine with subtle spice. Hints of nutmeg, cinnamon and fennel add depth while preserving a very clean, vibrant style. The long, fruity finish makes this gin a natural choice for refined gin and tonic, spritz-style aperitifs and sunny, fruit-led cocktails.
