| Clos Mogador Rosat is an intense, gastronomic rosé from Priorat, sourced mainly from the warm Manyetes vineyards. Biodynamically farmed garnacha, carinyena and a touch of macabeo are pressed very gently to preserve finesse. On the nose the wine behaves almost like a white, showing Mediterranean herbs, dried flowers, hay and hints of citrus peel rather than overt fruit. The palate is dry, savoury and slightly saline, with a medium body, fine phenolic grip and a cool mineral line. A long, spicy and herbal finish makes Clos Mogador Rosat a serious food partner for grilled fish, seafood, vegetables and refined tapas-style dishes. It shows its best when served lightly chilled in generous stemware. | |
