Arrels del Priorat Vi de mare de 30 anys is a traditional rancio-style wine from Catalonia’s Priorat region that revives an almost forgotten artisanal heritage. Made from Garnacha grapes and aged oxidatively for decades in a solera system, it develops a truly distinctive personality. On the nose it offers intense aromas of dried fruit, nuts, caramel and a touch of orange peel. The palate is concentrated, dry and immensely complex, combining ripe fruit, savoury spice and subtle salty hints in perfect balance. Its extended ageing delivers an almost endless finish, with lingering notes of walnut, roasted nuances and Mediterranean herbs. A remarkable contemplative wine that pairs beautifully with aged cheeses, nuts or as a special glass on its own.
