Domaine Overnoy

In the Sud Revermont of the Jura, near Beaufort-Orbagna, Domaine Overnoy carries the calm precision of this singular wine landscape. Guillaume Overnoy works parcels in Orbagna, Beaufort and Cesancey, where Triassic and Jurassic marls meet Bajocian limestone and altitudes around 250 to 320 metres slow the rhythm of ripening.

The family has cultivated vines here for generations; Guillaume took charge in 2014 and refined the focus on origin, organic farming and careful cellar work. Across roughly six hectares grow the five classic Jura varieties: Chardonnay, Savagnin, Poulsard, Trousseau and Pinot Noir, set within a cool continental climate of marked seasonal contrasts.

The wines are made in small cuvées, often by parcel, and mature in old cellars in 228- and 500-litre oak barrels. Ouillé ageing, sous voile traditions, Crémant du Jura and Côtes du Jura reveal the region’s full range, always guided by restraint, texture and respect for the soil.
