Domaine Roulot

At Domaine Roulot in Meursault, in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune, the modern radiance of an old family estate begins with the precision of Guy and Jean-Marc Roulot. The family has been rooted in Meursault for generations; Jean-Marc took over in 1989 and turned discretion into a worldwide reference.

Meursault is understood here not as opulence, but as a topography of lieux-dits. Les Luchets, Meix Chavaux, Tillets, Tessons and premier cru parcels reveal limestone, marl, slope and altitude in subtle gradations. Chardonnay remains the central voice, yet each site is given its own outline.

Roulot stands for a bright, chiselled Burgundian aesthetic: hand-picking, precise pressing, long ageing on lees, sensitive oak and a sharp eye for reduction and freshness. The wines do not feel constructed, but uncovered, as if Meursault itself were speaking in a clear line.
