Elsnegg’s Sauvignon Blanc Gamlitz is a village-level South Styrian classic and one of the estate’s signature wines. Grown on limestone and gravel slopes around Gamlitz and vinified dry in stainless steel, it delivers an intense, precise Sauvignon profile: gooseberry, green capsicum, white peach, blackcurrant leaf and a touch of passion fruit and citrus zest. On the palate it is firm, juicy and slightly creamy, with crystal-clear fruit, zesty acidity and a long, mineral-driven finish. A highly food-friendly Sauvignon that pairs beautifully with asparagus, goat’s cheese, seafood and herb-driven vegetable dishes.
Stainless steel ageing preserves the clear Sauvignon fruit, freshness and mineral tension of this village wine.
