Ch. Canon Saint-Émilion: The Essence of True Craftsmanship
Château Canon is ranked Premier Grand Cru Classé B in Saint-Emilion and sits on the famed limestone plateau just above the medieval village. Its vines, mostly Merlot and Cabernet Franc, dig deep into clay-limestone soils that give both succulent fruit and pronounced chalky minerality. In the cellar each plot is vinified separately before ageing in French oak barrels. The bouquet reveals red and black berries, cherry and plum with hints of violet, graphite and subtle spice. On the palate Château Canon is silky, precise and authoritative, with ripe tannins, vibrant freshness and a very long, mineral-driven finish.
