Deep ruby in colour, it offers an intense nose of red fruits, cherry and raspberry with notes of toast, subtle roasted tones, earth and a hint of yuzu citrus. On the palate the wine is rich and rounded yet silky, with a firm structure and direct, finely woven tannins. The flavours are concentrated but remain elegant, carried by a clear streak of minerality. The long, energetic finish makes this premier cru a superb match for beef, lamb, game dishes or mature cheeses. | |
