| Frank Phélan is the second wine of Château Phélan Ségur in Saint-Estèphe and combines the power of the Médoc with an inviting, supple texture. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blend offers aromas of blackcurrant, cassis and blackberry, lifted by graphite, cedar wood, spice and a hint of liquorice. On the palate this Bordeaux is medium to full-bodied, with juicy dark fruit and fresh, precise acidity. Firm yet silky tannins provide structure while preserving elegance. A long, savoury, slightly earthy finish makes Frank Phélan an excellent partner for beef, lamb, game birds or mature cheeses. | |
