On the palate it is dense yet silky, with fine-grained tannins, ripe acidity and impressive length. Dark berry fruit, cedar, tobacco and warm spice are harmoniously interwoven, clearly referencing the style of the grand vin. The texture is smooth but structured, leading into a layered, persistent finish that makes Pavillon Rouge an excellent partner for lamb, beef, game birds and slow-cooked dishes. | |
