Ewald Zweytick Sauvignon Blanc Ried Höllriegl (Pfarrweingarten) dac. 2021 0,75l

Sauvignon Blanc Ried Höllriegl am alten Pfarrweingarten is Ewald Zweytick’s single-vineyard Sauvignon from steep, sand- and sandstone-based slopes near Gamlitz. The bouquet shows ripe gooseberry, yellow fruit, a touch of cassis and herbal spice framed by subtle smoky notes. On the palate the wine offers a tightly knit structure, juicy fruit and precise, vibrant acidity. Ageing in wooden casks adds depth, texture and gentle spice without masking the varietal character. A distinct salty minerality drives the long finish and underlines the wine’s ageing potential. A complex, food-friendly white to accompany fish, shellfish, flavourful vegetable dishes or light meat.
