Faiveley Chambertin Clos de Bèze gc. 2022 0,75l

Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru from Domaine Faiveley is one of the flagship wines of the Côte de Nuits. Vines rooted in limestone‑rich, well‑drained soils give a Pinot Noir of striking depth and finesse. The bouquet combines red and dark berries, cherry and plum with hints of violet, liquorice, smoke and refined toasted notes. On the palate the wine is powerful, layered and silky, supported by precise acidity and very ripe, fine‑grained tannins. The finish is exceptionally long, carried by spice, minerality and intense fruit. A great Grand Cru for special occasions, ideal with braised beef, game dishes or mature cheeses.

Ageing in French oak with a high proportion of new wood highlights the complex, powerful Grand Cru structure.

The grape variety: Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir is a refined red grape known for red cherry, raspberry, floral notes, spice and silky tannins. It is most famous in Burgundy but thrives in many cool-climate regions.

It pairs beautifully with duck, roast chicken, mushrooms, salmon, pork and game birds. Its fascination lies in finesse, fragrance and the way it expresses origin. Pinot Noir
