Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru Les Cazetiers from Domaine Faiveley comes from one of the village’s most renowned hillside vineyards. Deep ruby in colour, it offers an intense nose of red fruits, cherry and raspberry with notes of toast, subtle roasted tones, earth and a hint of yuzu citrus. On the palate the wine is rich and rounded yet silky, with a firm structure and direct, finely woven tannins. The flavours are concentrated but remain elegant, carried by a clear streak of minerality. The long, energetic finish makes this premier cru a superb match for beef, lamb, game dishes or mature cheeses.
