Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength is a legendary Speyside malt matured in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at around 60% ABV. The nose bursts with rich sherry, seasoned oak, sultanas, dark fruits and a hint of smoky coffee. On the palate it is dry, malty and slightly oily, showing powerful sherry character, liquorice, dates, nuts and spicy oak. A drop of water reveals more caramel and dark chocolate while keeping the structure intact. The finish is long, peppery and nutty, with warming heat that lingers.
