Grapes from vines up to forty‑five years old grow on warm loam and gravel soils around Göttlesbrunn. The bouquet is packed with dark berries, black cherry, blackberry and a hint of cranberry, wrapped in subtle spice. On the palate the wine is juicy and concentrated with a touch of dark fruit sweetness, firmly framed by ripe tannins and bright freshness. A long, mineral‑tinged finish with persistent dark‑berry notes makes it an excellent partner for flavourful meat dishes, roast beef, lamb or grilled vegetables and hearty stews. | |
