Hugel Classic Pinot Noir 2023 0,75l

Pinot Noir Classic from Famille Hugel is a fresh, fruit driven red that captures the lighter side of Alsace. Grapes from cooler vineyard sites around Riquewihr are gently vinified to highlight red berry character. The bouquet recalls cherry, redcurrant and a touch of herbal lift with a hint of tobacco. On the palate the wine is juicy, supple and linear, with soft tannins and bright acidity. The finish is dry, fruity and lightly spicy. It is an easygoing partner for cold cuts, roast poultry, lighter meats and a wide range of cheeses. It brings together a clear sense of origin, varietal character and effortless drinkability.

The grape variety: Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir is a refined red grape known for red cherry, raspberry, floral notes, spice and silky tannins. It is most famous in Burgundy but thrives in many cool-climate regions.

It pairs beautifully with duck, roast chicken, mushrooms, salmon, pork and game birds. Its fascination lies in finesse, fragrance and the way it expresses origin. Pinot Noir
