Riesling Classic from Famille Hugel is the signature dry white of the estate and a textbook example of Alsace precision. The bouquet combines lily of the valley, elderflower, citrus zest and a hint of wet stone. On the palate the wine is slender, linear and vibrant, driven by zesty acidity and flavours of lemon and crisp apple. A touch of flinty minerality adds complexity and length. The finish is dry, focused and refreshing. This Riesling is a natural choice with fish, seafood, sushi, dim sum or vegetable based dishes.
