Champagne Brut by Joseph Perrier is the house s classic cuvée and a benchmark for its elegant, balanced style. A blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier is aged for an extended period in the historic cellars beneath Châlons en Champagne. The bouquet offers green apple, yellow stone fruit, citrus, white flowers and subtle brioche notes. On the palate the Champagne is dry, harmonious and lively, with fine mousse, ripe fruit and delicate spice. Fresh acidity and discreet minerality add precision and drinkability. The finish is clean, fruit driven and gently nutty. A versatile Brut for aperitifs, canapés, fish, seafood and celebratory occasions.
Beneath the chalk flank of Châlons‑en‑Champagne, Joseph Perrier—founded in 1825—matures in Gallo‑Roman galleries, three kilometres long, lit by shafts carved through the craie, a natural ventilation system before electricity. What is “vintage” above becomes patience below: cool, humid, built for long sur‑lattes years....

The grape variety: Chardonnay
Chardonnay is a globally renowned white grape from Burgundy, capable of crisp, mineral, creamy or oak-aged styles. Its flavours range from citrus and apple to peach, butter, nuts and toast.
It pairs with seafood, chicken, creamy pasta, mushrooms, lobster and soft cheeses. Chardonnay is exciting because it can be beautifully simple or profoundly complex.
