Lemarque Armagnac VSOP is an elegant blend of eaux-de-vie from several Armagnac subregions, aged for more than four years in oak. The nose is floral and inviting, with linden blossom, vanilla, plum and a subtle minty lift. On the palate it is fresh yet richly textured, revealing caramel, vanilla, candied citrus peel and prune. The flavours are harmonious and finely balanced, with a smooth, rounded mouthfeel. A long, gentle finish makes this VSOP equally suitable for sipping neat, over ice or as a refined base for classic brandy cocktails. It is a versatile partner for fine desserts, cheese courses or simply as a contemplative after-dinner drink.
