Mosbacher Riesling Forster Langenmorgen Großes Gewächs comes from a VDP.GROSSE LAGE site on the slopes between Deidesheim and Forst. It pours a bright straw yellow and offers an expressive nose of ripe mango, blood orange and vineyard peach, lifted by floral and spicy nuances. On the palate the wine is powerful, concentrated and impeccably clear, with intense fruit, firm acidity and a dense, phenolic texture. An almost electrifying minerality provides structure and great length. Despite its volume the Riesling remains precise and elegant, promising excellent ageing potential. A grand, dry Pfalz Riesling for refined fish dishes, veal and sophisticated Asian cuisine.
Spontaneous fermentation and stainless steel ageing keep this single-vineyard Riesling precise, with clear fruit and spice.
