Discover the character of Parcellaires de Saulx Clos de Vougeot gc.
Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru from Les Parcellaires de Saulx originates from the historic walled vineyard at the heart of the Côte de Nuits and delivers a structured, straight-talking style of Pinot Noir. The bouquet offers dark cherry, blackberry and plum with notes of musk, smoke and a touch of violet. On the palate the wine is dense and firmly built, driven by pronounced minerality and energetic acidity. The tannins are powerful yet ripe and polished, giving depth and length. Flavours of dark berries, spice and discreet oak linger on the finish. This Grand Cru is an excellent match for beef, venison, rich stews or mature hard cheeses and benefits from additional cellaring.
