Pinot Auxerrois
Pinot Auxerrois is a white grape variety from the Burgundy family and is often simply called Auxerrois. It is particularly widespread in Alsace, Luxembourg and parts of Germany, and stands for mild, fruity white wines with soft acidity.Typical aromas include pear, yellow apple, melon, white flowers, nuts and fine spice. Pinot Auxerrois usually feels rounder and gentler than Riesling and can be made in both uncomplicated and surprisingly elegant styles.
