The nose is inviting, with aromas of pineapple, apricot, ripe apple and citrus zest, joined by hints of lychee, blossom and wild herbs. On the palate it is dry, juicy and slightly cloudy, with gentle grip from skin contact and aging in amphora and used barrels. Exotic fruit, stone fruit and salty freshness are lifted by bright acidity. The finish is lively, subtly bitter and very moreish, making Blond by Nature a great match for creative small plates, spicy vegetable dishes and relaxed summer evenings. | |
