Prieler Pinot Blanc Leithaberg DAC 2023 0,75l

Pinot Blanc Leithaberg DAC from Prieler is sourced from old vines planted on limestone and schist slopes between Lake Neusiedl and the Leitha hills. The interplay of lake warmth, cool breezes and stony soils creates a wine of tension and salty minerality. The bouquet reveals yellow apple, ripe pear and hints of tropical fruit, complemented by blossom honey, herbs and a subtle smoky touch. On the palate this Pinot Blanc is compact and creamy yet linear, driven by lively acidity and a long, citrus‑mineral finish. Discreet oak ageing adds nutty depth and length without masking the precise fruit. A gastronomic white to pair with fish, poultry or refined vegetable dishes.

The grape variety: Pinot Blanc

Pinot Blanc is an elegant white grape from the Pinot family. It usually offers pear, apple, citrus and almond with a soft texture and fresh, balanced finish.

It pairs well with seafood, poultry, pork, mushrooms, risotto and soft cheeses. Its appeal is quiet versatility: refined, food-friendly and never overbearing. Pinot Blanc
