Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru from Domaine Jacques Prieur is grown on the slopes of the Corton hill, where stony clay-limestone soils face south-east. This terroir combines power with cool elegance and gives Pinot Noir with distinctive spice. The bouquet offers red and dark berries, rose and peony, fine baking spices, mocha and a touch of liquorice. On the palate the wine is juicy and supple yet firmly structured, with powdery, silky tannins and impressive depth. Vibrant minerality brings freshness and length to the spicy, fruit-driven finish. A versatile Grand Cru for braised dishes, duck or mature hard cheeses.
