Discover the Character of Prieur Beaune Champs Pimont ROUGE
Beaune 1er Cru Champs Pimont Rouge by Domaine Jacques Prieur comes from an east‑facing slope just above the town of Beaune, where clay‑limestone soils give deeply coloured, structured Pinot Noir. The bouquet opens with dark cherry, blackberry and blueberry wrapped in notes of clove, liquorice, black pepper, vanilla and dark chocolate. On the palate the wine is juicy and powerful, with dense yet ripe tannins and precise acidity. Subtle oak spice underscores the dark berry fruit without dominating. This is a characterful Premier Cru that pairs beautifully with roast poultry, veal dishes or refined mushroom cuisine. A few years of bottle age will bring even more complexity and silky finesse.
