Bayer-Erbhof Grüner Veltliner Leithaberg DAC Alte Reben 2024 0,75l

From Donnerskirchen on the Leitha Mountains, this Grüner Veltliner captures a cool, stony expression of Leithaberg. The vines stand on lean mica-schist soils, giving the wine grip, freshness and a savoury edge. Bright fruit, herbal nuances and a gentle peppery note shape the aroma. On the palate it feels lively and precise, with delicate phenolics and a fruit-driven, spicy finish. Hand-harvested fruit, cool fermentation and ageing on the fine lees in stainless steel and used barriques add texture without masking origin. It is an elegant partner for asparagus, risotto, pasta, soft cheeses and roast meat. Choose it at Vinofant when you want Austrian white wine with mineral clarity and real drinking flow.
