Grüner Veltliner
Grüner Veltliner is Austria's flagship white grape variety and one of Europe's most distinctive dry white wine grapes. It is especially important in Niederösterreich, including Wachau, Kamptal, Kremstal, Wagram and Weinviertel.
The wines are known for citrus, green apple, pear, herbs, white pepper and lively acidity. Styles range from light and zesty to powerful, textured single-vineyard wines with ageing potential.
