Grüner Veltliner Loibner from F.X. Pichler brings together fruit from terraced vineyards around Oberloiben and captures the spicy, fruit driven character of the Wachau. The bouquet offers juicy yellow apple, ripe pear and hints of tropical fruit, lifted by white pepper and subtle tobacco notes. On the palate the wine is juicy and medium bodied, with clear yellow fruit, a firm mineral core and a dry, gently creamy texture. A fresh line of acidity provides tension without sacrificing charm. The spicy, mouthwatering finish makes this Veltliner a versatile partner for fried chicken, classic Austrian dishes or aromatic vegetable cuisine.
Around four months on the fine lees in stainless steel gives the wine freshness and aromatic clarity.
