Rosi Schuster Dorfkultur weiss 2020 0,75l

Dorfkultur weiss from Weingut Rosi Schuster is an intriguing white blend of Furmint, Grüner Veltliner and Welschriesling. The grapes come from Leithaberg vineyards with calcareous soils and are carefully harvested by hand. The bouquet combines ripe stone and orchard fruits, citrus, herbs and a hint of smoky minerality. On the palate the wine shows volume and a fine creamy texture while remaining dry and taut. Well-knit acidity and a salty, spicy edge give length and drive. The finish is mineral, slightly nutty and very harmonious. An ambitious food wine that pairs beautifully with refined cuisine and aromatic fish dishes.

The grape variety: Grüner Veltliner

Grüner Veltliner is Austria's signature white grape, known for citrus, pear, herbs, white pepper and lively freshness.

It is superb with asparagus, schnitzel, seafood, salads and mildly spicy dishes, making it one of the most versatile white wine grapes.
