Mantlerhof Grüner Veltliner Weitgasse 2025 0,75l

From Veltliner sites on the high plateau and at the foot of the Gobelsberg, this Grüner Veltliner captures the bright, cool side of Kremstal. Loess and black earth lend quiet depth while keeping the wine lively and effortless. Aromas of yellow apple, citrus, a touch of mango, delicate blossom, and white pepper create an inviting first impression. On the palate it is dry, sleek, precise, and refreshing, with fine acidity and a subtly salty mineral finish. Stainless-steel ageing preserves its pure fruit and crisp definition. It is a natural match for Austrian dishes, vegetables, fish, poultry, or relaxed aperitif moments. Organic, vegan, and wonderfully drinkable, it offers authentic Mantlerhof character with elegant ease.

Ageing in steel with six months on fine lees preserves cool freshness and gives the Grüner Veltliner a clear, elegant line.

Mantlerhof

Between Danube terraces and loess‑rich slopes, the Mantlerhof in Gedersdorf, Kremstal, crafts a distinctly organic Austrian profile rooted in family continuity. The estate has been farmed for more than two centuries, and its lore—care for Roter Veltliner and the Neuburger story tied to the region—adds depth without turning the wines into nostalgia....

The grape variety: Grüner Veltliner

Grüner Veltliner is Austria's signature white grape, known for citrus, pear, herbs, white pepper and lively freshness.

It is superb with asparagus, schnitzel, seafood, salads and mildly spicy dishes, making it one of the most versatile white wine grapes.
