Liegenfeld Grüner Veltliner Classic is considered the estate’s signature wine and captures the character of northern Burgenland in the glass. Fruit from slate parcels around Donnerskirchen benefits from the pannonian climate and cooling breezes from Lake Neusiedl. The nose combines citrus, green apple, a touch of stone fruit and the grape’s typical spicy pepper note. On the palate it is clear, juicy and uncomplicated, with refreshing acidity and a gently spicy finish. Its balance of drinkability and varietal character makes it an ideal everyday white. It is a delicious match for light fish dishes, asparagus or a traditional cold platter.

Grüner Veltliner Classic 2025 is aged in stainless steel and shows fine spice with appealing fruit notes.
